#153: “I hope you dance forever”

We often try to hide the pains of our past and wonder why we can’t move forward. My guest, Bernadette Savoy, has found that by letting out those trials of her past through her book she was able to deal more directly with them and find a new freedom. Bernadette is a wonderful friend that loves music, faith, family and teaching young children. You can find her book “I Hope You Dance Forever” on Amazon and Kindle.

Bernadette Savoy is a graduate of Delta School of Business with a certificate in Administrative Office Management (1990). She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL, 1996) and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL, 2013). She has been a teacher for the past 19 years, currently teaching 2nd grade. She currently serves as Vice President of Public Relations for Evangeline Toastmasters, a public speaking, communication and leadership organization, as well as a Children’s Church teacher at Destiny of Faith Christian Center. She has three daughters, Sharaina, Yesmar, and Shamar and three granddaughters, Sabrea and twins Aubrey and Jayda. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She resides in the city of Lafayette, Louisiana.
